Project Engineer (Fire Safety System /West/ Up to 4.5k) - #1102078

My client is a leading Singapore-based fire safety systems specialist, this company provides comprehensive solutions including system design, installation, maintenance, and accredited training for fire protection and alarm systems.

• Position: Project Engineer (Permanent Role)

• Location : Based on Project site

• Working schedules : Office hours/Site schedule

• Remuneration : Basic, Bonus, Transport and mobile reimbursement

The Project Engineer plays a key role in the execution of fire protection projects by coordinating site operations, manpower, and materials to meet project timelines and quality standards. This role requires active supervision of site workers, daily progress monitoring, materials planning, and ensuring site safety and compliance. The engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to facilitate timely project delivery and address any site-related issues proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications and confirm completion timelines

• Plan work schedules and coordinate material requisitions

• Supervise and brief foremen and site workers on job scope

• Conduct regular checks on materials, tools, and equipment to prevent work stoppage

• Monitor worker performance, safety, and punctuality

• Provide on-the-job training for new workers and assess skill levels

• Liaise with Project Manager and other teams for site coordination, including concealed work and remedial tasks

• Report accidents, delays, or equipment damages immediately

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering

• At least 2 years of relevant experience; fire safety system experience is a plus

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage site-level activities effectively
