Marketing Communication Manager – Job Scope (vivo & DJI)
1. Strategic Brand Management
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies tailored to each brand’s positioning (vivo – smartphones & lifestyle tech; DJI – drones & imaging solutions).
Analyse brand performance and consumer insights to refine brand messaging and campaigns.
Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, balancing each brand’s identity and target audience.
2. Campaign Planning & Execution
Plan and roll out ATL, BTL, and TTL campaigns for both brands across digital, retail, and offline channels.
Coordinate seasonal and product-based marketing campaigns to meet brand-specific KPIs.
Work with HQ/regional marketing teams to localize global campaigns and assets.
3. Product Launch & Go-to-Market Strategy
Lead end-to-end marketing planning for new product launches – from pre-launch teasers to post-launch engagement.
Collaborate with sales, product, and retail teams to ensure 360° market activation.
Design impactful launch events, P R kits, and influencer campaigns.
4. Digital & Social Media Marketing
Manage digital campaigns across social media, e-commerce platforms, and websites (SEO/SEM, performance marketing, social content planning).
Drive fanbase and engagement growth through creative, localized content.
Partner with influencers/KOLs and creators to boost online visibility for both brands.
5. Channel & Retail Marketing
Create POS materials, retail promotions, and in-store experience strategies tailored to each brand.
Support channel partners with marketing collaterals and retail training tools.
Monitor retail campaign effectiveness and optimize based on performance.
6. Event & Activation Management
Organize brand activations, roadshows, product demos, and experiential marketing events.
Participate in trade shows and tech expos to strengthen brand presence.
Leverage brand ambassadors and customer engagement activities.
7. Budget Management & ROI Tracking
Plan and manage marketing budgets for both brands, ensuring effective allocation.
Track ROI and campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools.
Propose data-driven improvements to maximize marketing efficiency.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Product, E-Commerce, Creative, and Customer Service teams.
Act as the marketing liaison for distributors, resellers, and strategic partners.
Coordinate with global/regional brand teams to align on objectives and brand direction.
9. Competitor & Market Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Identify opportunities for brand differentiation and market penetration.
10. Team Leadership (Must)
Supervised junior marketers and interns, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Provided ongoing mentorship, performance feedback, and skill development support.
Lead vivo & DJI marketing with strong Mandarin communication, localized strategy, and deep understanding of Chinese consumer culture.
Team Collaboration & Initiative
Provide guidance to junior team members or interns when necessary.
Proactively propose creative ideas and process improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin is essential.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, preferably in consumer electronics or lifestyle tech.
Proficiency in Mandarin to coordinate with regional teams and stakeholders.
