Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Marina One / Changi
Responsibilities:
Review and uplift existing KYC profiles to ensure alignment with enhanced regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Corroborate Source of Wealth (SoW) using appropriate documentation, contextual analysis, and market insights.
Identify and assess the risks associated with opaque or complex legal structures.
Conduct transaction reviews to ensure alignment with the client’s risk profile and flag any suspicious or unusual activity, especially involving unknown third parties.
Investigate and resolve true matches from sanction screening, and address other AML/CFT risks identified during name and media screening.
Escalate newly identified risk indicators or unusual transaction patterns in a timely manner.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of review rationale, findings, and decisions.
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned cases in line with internal SLAs and timelines.
Support internal governance through periodic reporting and status updates.
Provide guidance to front office employees on KYC/CDD-related matters.
Advise management and local risk committees on AML/CFT risks associated with client relationships.
Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements to procedures or controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in KYC, AML, or compliance-related roles within financial institutions.
Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, customer due diligence (CDD), and risk assessment.
Familiarity with sanction screening tools and investigative research.
