Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the design requirements are met for manufacturability and product reliability.
To collaborate on developing new testing and numerical methodologies to improve the productivity and efficiency of the design process.
To work closely with the design/simulation team and R&D operation in new product design and development.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop thermal-mechanical finite element models to optimize designs that meet customer requirements.
Develop testing methods to assess product mechanical/electrical reliability.
Establish the testing setup and troubleshoot the setup issues.
Collect and analyze the testing data to characterize failure modes and mechanisms.
Development of new reliability testing methods (e.g., electromigration testing).
Creation of new numerical analysis methods.
Conducting the DOE analysis for design/process optimization through testing and numerical approaches.
Qualifications:
Experience in finite element method & analysis, testing and instrumentation.
Knowledge of solid mechanics and heat transfer.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical & thermal modeling and analysis. mechanical testing setup & instrumentation.
The salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Strong knowledge of simulation software such as Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL, or any similar tool is preferable.
