Registration & Admission
Perform accurate registration for Emergency Department patients
Manage billing for patients including payment & deposit collection
Conduct financial counselling for patients / next-of-kin (NOK) who require admission to the hospital
Assist patients / NOK / general public on general enquiries over the counter or through telephone
Any other duties assigned from time to time
Bed Management
Perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.
Monitor and manage the bed waiting time for patients in order to meet the department’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters
Generate daily report and information for dissemination to the relevant stakeholders.
Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline
1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
Good interpersonal & communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Working Schedule:
Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts (including weekends and Public Holidays)
7am – 2.30pm (morning) / 2pm – 9.30pm (afternoon) / 9.15pm – 7am (night)
