We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our training team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in waste management practices, adult education and curriculum development.
Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality training programs related to waste management, aligned with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery
Conduct engaging, competency-based training sessions for different learner groups (e.g. drivers, crew members, executives).
Deliver courses aligned with WSQ frameworks and NEA-approved standards.
Facilitate practical training, workshops, and site-based learning activities.
Curriculum Development
Design and develop training curriculum, materials, and assessment tools in areas such as:
Recycling and waste management
Hazardous waste handling
Environmental legislation and workplace safety
Ensure curriculum is up-to-date with local waste management trends and technologies.
Align curriculum with WSQ/SSG requirements and other accreditation bodies.
Quality Assurance & Review
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal stakeholders like Operations, Safety & Compliance team to ensure relevance and industry alignment.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
ACTA/ACLP/DDDLP or equivalent WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment.
DACE (Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education) is a strong advantage.
At least 3–5 years of experience in waste management operations or environmental services.
Minimum 2 years of experience in adult training, instructional design, or curriculum development.
Well versed with WSQ framework and SkillsFuture initiatives in Singapore.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
