The Cybersecurity Support Lead will play a critical role in providing comprehensive cybersecurity and infrastructure support for our existing projects. As a key member of the team, this role will manage external cybersecurity expert services, ensuring the organization's ability to address new and evolving security challenges effectively. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Support Lead will actively participate in incident handling processes and collaborate closely with the project and maintenance teams to uphold robust cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide end-to-end cybersecurity support for project-related and infrastructure security needs.
2. Collaborate with external cybersecurity experts to address emerging threats and evolving requirements.
3. Lead and participate in cybersecurity incident handling processes, ensuring swift response and resolution.
4. Leverage expertise in IT infrastructure security and network security to safeguard critical systems.
5. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external teams to maintain alignment with cybersecurity goals and best practices.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in areas like Network Security, Endpoint Security, Incident Response, SIEM, etc.
- Proven track record of working in project-based or client-serving environments.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including:
a. Operating System architecture and network implementation/configuration.
b. Next-generation firewall technologies and network detection/response solutions.
c. Endpoint security tools such as anti-virus and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response).
d. Cybersecurity anomaly detection and response solutions (e.g., SIEM and SOAR platforms).
- Familiarity with government regulatory compliance frameworks such as IM8 or CCoP.
- Strong technical skills to assess, prioritize, and execute tasks methodically and efficiently.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:
- Ability to set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to senior executives and diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build strong rapport with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications and Domain Knowledge:
- Professional certifications such as Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or etc
- Solid understanding of core cybersecurity domains and familiarity with cyber playbooks is advantageous.
Other Skills:
- Highly adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, project-based environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
