As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you set high standards on room cleanliness while providing seamless experience to our hotel guests. You are attention to detail and will be able to coach and guide new colleagues, motivating them to demonstrate true hospitality at work.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Guest experience
Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures related to bedroom, bathroom, valet, cleaning services and linen maintenance
Ensure guest laundry is processed and delivered in a timely manner
Manage all special requests made by guests pertaining to housekeeping department
Ensure consistency within the department and manage lost property in the hotel
Help prepare and monitor the hotel’s annual budget with a focus on increasing profitability
Aware of financial targets and assist department leader to drive results
Recycle whenever possible and enforce cost saving measures to team members
Attend meetings and conduct training sessions as required
Liaise with departments for guest and hotel requirements
Work with superior with all team member related matters to ensure productivity
Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and in accordance to OH&S guidelines
Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
What we need from you
● A minimum qualification in Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism
● At least 2 years of experience in the a supervisory level
