Lifting Engineer (viaducts) - #1101227

Roles & Responsibilities

• Reports to the Construction Manager
• To ensure that day-to-day lifting operations are monitored at an appropriate level.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
• Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure compliance with authorities’ requirements.
• Address to the concerned party regarding the safety of any lifting operations
• Provide reports to the construction team regularly
• Liaise closely with the HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction field; inclusive of 3 years experience in construction and supervision for vehicular structures and road projects (LTA Road / MRT / Viaduct)
• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in lifting of heavy structures
• Candidates with previous experience in LTA Projects are preferred
• Attained IES/SHETC Appointed Person for Lifting Operation certification is mandatory for this position
• Either Day or Night shift position available
