Job Description
Airpak Express Pte Ltd is looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Operations Manager (CEPP & Freight Forwarding) to lead key strategic and operational initiatives. Based in Changi East, you’ll manage pricing structures, cost control, and business planning while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across courier, express, parcel, post, and freight forwarding activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and implement effective operational plans to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement
Manage and optimise the company's resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to enhance productivity and efficiency
Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and make data-driven decisions to improve operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and enhance the overall customer experience
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring the business meets its targets and objectives
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Key Responsibilities (CEPP & Freight Focused)
Lead pricing strategy across domestic courier, international express, and freight forwarding
Manage vendor rates, costing models, and margin control
Support commercial proposals, tenders, and customer-specific pricing
Collaborate with the operations team to identify inefficiencies and improve process flows
Engage external stakeholders including airlines, agents, and regulatory bodies (e.g. ICA, CAAS, IMDA, Customs)
Champion system and process automation to enhance commercial planning and cost tracking
Requirements
Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with exposure to both CEPP and forwarding operations
Strong commercial acumen and data analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional collaboration experience
Familiarity with industry regulations, cost structures, and pricing models
