Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the Director, Business Development (Medical) position.

Responsibilities:

• Development of regional strategy/market introduction plan

  • Develop marketing analysis of MR and relevant medical robotic products business in Asia Pacific.

  • Develop regional strategy/market introduction plan of MR and relevant medical robotic products business in Asia Pacific, fulfilling the leading role in partnering with cross functional teams and related companies.

• Organization development/management

  • Develop and manage team/organization to realize MR Business in Asia Pacific, by building relationships with various stakeholders.

• Clinical/product discussion with doctors/co-workers in the hospital

  • Professionally represent the company to outside customers with clinical/product discussion and consequently advocate for the customer needs within internal functions.

• Commercial discussion with hospital management members

  • Professionally represent the company to outside customers with commercial discussion and consequently advocate for the customer needs within internal functions.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Business/Marketing, or Medical Doctor (Surgical)

• Minimum 2 years experiences in medical robotic industry or > 2 years practical experience in performing robotic surgery.

• Multiple years of management experience (project leader experience) in a responsible position in a section or departmental organization

• Ability to analyze & prioritize opportunities and generate proposals further decision-making

• Proven analytic skills with ability to understand complex market & product data to produce sound business recommendations

• Understanding of basic financial statements
