Overall Purpose of the Job
To provide primary technical resource for the field sales force, responsible for managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, and to provide effective and efficient troubleshooting of instruments, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.
Key Accountabilities
To identify and resolve all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
To conduct preventative maintenance, respond to customers’ calls as and when including off-office hours, on problems related to instruments, troubleshoot problems on site and resolve to achieve customer satisfaction on downtime of instruments.
To collaborate with sales to install and commission instruments at customers site on time and meet customers satisfaction
To keep abreast of product development through self-learning so as to achieve personal productivity in problem resolution.
To monitor spare parts inventory so as to ensure there is no delay in resolution of problems due to spare parts thus achieving customers satisfaction
