Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will play a key role in managing and preparing cost plans and budgets for our construction projects as the main contractor, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial components of construction projects.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and analyses for tender submissions.
Develop bills of quantities (BQ), tender documents, and contract documentation.
Monitor and manage contract variations, claims, and scope changes.
Prepare and review progress claims and payment certifications for subcontractors and suppliers.
Proactively seek to minimise project costs while adhering to company policies and quality standards.
Track the progression of contracts and document any design changes.
Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Attend regular site visits to support project delivery.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimating techniques.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
