Corporate Communications Executive
Reports to the supervisor
About the role
Corporate communication strategies:
Develop the framework for CSLMCH to plan out communication with its stakeholders.
Incumbent is expected to produce work plans, set targets and budgets.
Media relations:
Promote CSLMCH’s reputation through highly visible channels.
Controlling the messages that the public hears in the event of a crisis that might cause panic or tarnish CSLMCH’s image.
Content creation:
Responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for CSLMCH, which will be published in the organisation’s website, social media pages and other print collaterals.
Content output includes Annual Reports, corporate presentation decks, press releases, beneficiaries’ stories in newsletters, speeches, social media posts (FB & IG), videos, brochures, appeal letters, marketing materials for FR events, website updates among other things.
Incumbent will also be required to brainstorm and suggest newer ways and/or platforms to increase reach.
Asset management:
Work with the relevant department(s) to keep CSLMCH’s website and social media pages updated.
Be the custodian of media assets such as photos and videos; ensuring their timely submission by the various departments to SharePoint.
Incumbent is also required to police the use of CSLMCH’s media assets to comply with regulations, redacting photos/ videos as necessary.
Media monitoring:
Conduct comprehensive scans of traditional and new media sources.
Tracking mentions and compiling them into simple reports for internal circulation.
Point of contact:
Respond to enquiries from social media channels and/ or media outlets in a timely fashion.
Corporate identity champion.
Maintain/build the identity to accord with and facilitate CSLMCH’s objectives.
Internally, to regularly engage stakeholders, encouraging employee commitment to the corporate brand strategy.
Donation-in-Kind/ Sponsored meals:
Assist/ function as the liaison person in such inquiries promptly and professionally, and coordinate with various departments on distribution.
Update the donation-in-kind /sponsored meals calendar punctually.
Administrative duties:
Ensure donor and sponsor “Thank You Cards” are mailed out promptly.
Be the meeting coordinator, responsible for scheduling and executing meetings/appointments of all sizes.
The incumbent would need to prepare a monthly Management Report.
Candidate Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Computer skills, including knowledge of video editing and graphic design
Core Competencies:
• Diploma in mass communication with 2-3 years of experience in the Charity sector
Preferred characteristics:
• Detail-oriented and pleasant personality
• Team player
