Our client is a leading organisation specialised in the manufacturing, installation, sales and maintenance of elevators and escalators. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for (A) Lift Maintenance Technician & (B) Lift Technician (Service QA).

 

(A) Lift Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works in accordance to the schedule

  • Observe safety work procedures

  • Perform standby works when required

  • Follow up on breakdown report and assist Standby Section where required

  • Keep proper records of works carried out in the relevant reports

  • Attend to the building or equipment inspections as required, by law (BCD, FSB)

  • Assist in conducting and investigating of damages/accidents to equipment or personnel

  • Follow up on QC and QA defects.

Requirements

  • Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Engineering or equivalent qualification

  • Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Lift or similar industry

  • Possess own vehicle

Advantage

  • Can start work immediately or at a short notice 

  • Possess Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) in relevant field

(B) Lift Technician (Service QA)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager/senior engineer in any technical aspect of the equipment

  • Carry out inspection on newly installed equipment and equipment under maintenance

  • Attend to safety and performance-related breakdowns of equipment

  • Planning and implementation of new measures to improve performance of equipment

  • Investigate and submit report on the technical failures of equipment

  • Act as calibration committee member when assigned by senior manager and to ensure all instruments within the department are properly documented and calibrated

  • Assist in technical training of subordinates within the department

  • Any other duties as assigned by superior

Requirements

  • Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Engineering or equivalent qualification

  • Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Lift or similar industry

  • Possess own vehicle

Advantage

  • Tripe E Certs

  • Proficient in Microsoft application
