Summary:

• Monday - Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm, alternate Saturday 9.00am to 6.00pm

• UP$6000-$8000

• Variable Bonus

• Yio Chu Kang (required to travel to sites)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety programs specific to road construction activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Provide safety training and awareness programs for workers, supervisors, engineers and subcontractors.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Review safety plans, method statements, and permits to work for road and civil construction activities.

• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices on site.

• Liaise with government regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay updated on safety regulations and best practices.

• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.

• Participate in safety meetings, committees, and emergency response drills.

• Provide timely safety reports and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Work, Safety and Health or equivalent studies.

• WSHO and ECO certified.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction field would be of advantage.
