Interior Designer (Singaporean candidates Only) - #1100130

Job Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget for the project. Develop a deep understanding of their lifestyle and requirements.

2. Conceptualization: Create initial design concepts, mood boards, and sketches that align with the client’s vision. Present and discuss these ideas to gather feedback and refine the concept.

3. Space Planning: Develop details space plans, floor layouts, and furniture arrangements that optimize functionality and flow within the space

4. Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials, color palettes, finishes, and furnishing to create a cohesive design that meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.

5. Budget Management: Ensure that the design aligns with the client’s budget. Source and recommend cost-effective materials and products without compromising on quality.

6. 3D Modeling and Rendering: Utilize design software to create 3D models and realistic renderings to help clients visualize the proposed designs.

7. Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, including working with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals. Ensure that the project stars on schedule and within budget.

8. Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of the project, address any issues that arise, and ensure that the design is executed as planned

9. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and procurement records.

10. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current interior design trends, technologies, and materials to continually enhance your skills and bring fresh ideas to projects.

Qualifications:

• No experience or relevant background needed. Training will be provided

• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are required to work effectively with clients, team members, contractors, and suppliers, as well as to present design ideas clearly

• (Must be able to speak and understand both English and Mandarin)

• Able to speak and understand in English and Mandarin (as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking contractor)

• Project management and organizational skills

• Creative thinking and an eye for detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
