Responsibilities

·        Oversee opportunities identified by the sales team

·        Make optimal procurement decisions to benefit the company

·        Independently place purchase orders based on value and gross profit margins

·        Manage vendors, including price negotiations, VRMA processing, and shipment tracking

·        Develop strategic relationships with suppliers and brokers

·        Handle seller requirements such as vendor evaluations, datasheet research, technical assistance, BOM support, vendor negotiations, and order expediting

·        Enter and update purchase orders and VRMAs

·        Consistently exceed management’s performance goals

·        Prepare reports as needed

·        Expedite and monitor open orders to ensure timely delivery

·        Support the accounting team by verifying terms, payment conditions, and credit details

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing within the semiconductor or electronic components industry

·        Proficient and familiar with ERP systems

·        Skilled in MS Office

·        Excellent negotiation abilities

·        Collaborative team player with experience working in cross-functional and global teams

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills
