We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Global HRIS Project Contractor (Lead Business Analyst) for SuccessFactors to drive strategic initiatives for executing the People Technology roadmap execution. The ideal candidate will collaborate with People colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless People operations, process improvements, and effective deployment of enhanced features and system upgrades.
Reporting to the Global HRIS Project Manager, the candidate will also oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations for specified areas, gaining a deep understanding of current processes to support the effective execution of the strategic People roadmap.
Key responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Lead the requirements gathering process by collaborating with stakeholders from People, IT, and business units to understand current challenges and future needs.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and document business requirements and functional specifications.
Prioritize and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for the vendor team.
Solution Design & Implementation
Collaborate with IT teams and software vendors to design and implement digital solutions that meet HR business needs.
Review system designs, configurations, and customizations to ensure they align with business requirements.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in the validation of digital solutions.
Stakeholder Communication & Management
Act as the main point of contact for business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly understood and met.
Develop and deliver presentations and reports to management and key stakeholders.
Change Management & Training
Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new People systems and processes.
Assist in the design and delivery of training programs to ensure employees can effectively use new People digital solutions.
Provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure continued success of the transformation.
Project Leadership & Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams through the People transformation process, ensuring collaboration between People, IT, and other business areas.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, working with the project manager to mitigate and resolve as needed.
Drive continuous improvement and alignment with project timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Reporting & Analytics
Track People system performance and generate reports to assess system usage, performance, and areas for improvement for BAU as well as People Technology roadmap initiative.
Support People and business leaders with data-driven insights and analyses related to People Technology functionality.
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in similar capacity, in SuccessFactors HCM application or equivalent.
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Ability to lead discussions involving cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and influence key stakeholders to drive project success.
Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, etc.) and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Hands-on technical configuration knowledge in SuccessFactors HCM application or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritise.
Proactive, self-motivated individual with ambition, energy and drive.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.
