We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting (Private Equity) based in our Vistra, Singapore office. This is a full-time and permanent position.
Key responsibilities:
Be the primary client service contact for the assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
Review Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values.
Review capital call and distribution notices.
Prepare/review waterfall and equalization calculations.
Reviewing financial statements, management accounts, and quarterly accounting packages.
Draft disclosure notes in line with IFRS/US GAAP accounting conventions.
Work closely with other teams (i.e., Cash Management, Investor Services, and Corporate Secretarial) to ensure overall operations run smoothly.
Key requirements:
Degree in accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA) or finance or equivalent.
5-6 years of accounting / auditing experience with at least 4 years in Private Equity Fund industry
Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP
Solid understanding of operational functions, including Fund Structures, Fund Accounting, Equalisation, Calls/Distributions, and Waterfall models.
Effective client relations, teamwork, and management skills.
Familiarity with Investran and experience in process improvement will be viewed favourably.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
