Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for commercial vehicles.
Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including fleet buyers, logistics companies, and corporate customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and segments, and securing contracts with key commercial clients.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness: Maintain deep product knowledge of the company's commercial vehicle offerings and stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor products to effectively communicate value to customers.
Sales Operations: Manage pricing, quotations, and contract negotiations to ensure profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals and ensure smooth execution of sales contracts and vehicle delivery.
Performance Monitoring: Prepare sales performance reports weekly on sales metrics, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Financial Oversight: Oversee payment-related issues, including account arrears and overdue payments.
Requirements
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree holder in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing sales teams in the automotive trade, with a strong track record in commercial vehicle sales.
Licensing: Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
