•  Position : Quality Engineer (Precision Machining /Quality Management)- ALL WELCOME

• Location : Tuas

• Working hours : 5 days - Monday - Friday: 7:30am to 4:45pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience) Up to $4000 (Basic up to $3800 +$110 Transport Allowance) + Performance Bonus

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry : MANUFACTURER AND REPAIR OF MACHINERY

 Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee Quality department operations and inspector performance

• Review/approve mill certs, Delivery Orders (DO), and farmout COCs

• Initiate NCRs/SQNs for non-conformances and follow up on closures

• Manage NOIs for 3rd party inspections and review customer specs (DBI, etc.)

• Submit SMDRs and monitor status; handle customer complaints (CPARs)

• Conduct internal/external audits and ensure compliance with quality systems

• Support supplier assessments, QC technical issues, and calibration

• Oversee plant safety, risk assessments, and fire safety

• Lead external Quality/Safety audits and support EHS activities

• Drive quality system improvements and cross-department projects

• Backup for ITP/FIR prep, document scanning, drift reports, and calibration

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering

• 5+ years in precision machining (Oil & Gas preferred)

• Knowledge of quality systems, calibration, engineering drawings, and EHS

• Proficiency in measurement tools and quality control/assurance

• Calibration knowledge

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Quality Management Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in precision machining, preferably in Oil & Gas environment
