Senior Quantity Surveyor - #1099325

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for projects.

• Prepare and manage tendering processes, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate prices.

• Oversee contract conditions, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

• Track project expenditures, analyse cost trends, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

• Conduct valuations and assess sub-contractor / supplier’s claims and certify payments.

• Prepare and settle final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and company policies.

• Develop effective vendor relationship management program to maximize value for both parties and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying in a Main Contractor firm, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

• Familiar with tender process, preparation and submission.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control methods, and procurement strategies.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
