Inventory Planner (Automotive Spare Parts) - #1099222

Join a leading company in the automotive industry as an Inventory Planner! In this role, you’ll manage and analyze stock levels, forecast demand, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure timely availability of parts across all stores. It’s a key position for someone who enjoys planning, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Job Info:

• Basic up to $4,200 + Variable Bonuses (up to 3 months)

• 5-day work week; Office hours

• North area; Company transport provided (pickup from Admiralty MRT)

• Automotive industry

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels through effective forecasting, replenishment planning, and application of stock control concepts such as safety stock and working stock.

• Analyze stock movement and purchase order data to optimize inventory allocation and avoid stockouts or overstocking.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Parts Store and Users) to streamline the demand and supply process.

• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to support forecasting and supply decisions, offering recommendations for improvement.

• Monitor and manage stock orders and distribution to ensure consistent stock availability across multiple store locations in line with KPIs.

• Coordinate with external parties including forwarders, customs, vendors, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Assist in daily operational tasks and coordination between the warehouse and operations team.

• Uphold workplace safety and housekeeping standards in all inventory-related activities.

• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in spare parts management, logistics, or inventory control (preferably in the automotive industry)

• Strong in demand planning, inventory analysis, and vendor management

• Proficient in MS Office and experienced with inventory systems
