Mechanical Engineer(Construction) - #1099019

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works (HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire protection systems, etc.) at site.

• Liaise with main contractor, consultants, and other trades to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.

• Review and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.

• Monitor project schedule, site progress, and resolve technical/site issues promptly.

• Ensure installation and workmanship comply with industry codes and safety standards.

• Prepare and maintain documentation such as method statements, inspection checklists, and progress reports.

• Support testing and commissioning activities.

• Assist in procurement of materials and coordination with suppliers/vendors.

• Attend project meetings and site inspections.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction projects (preferably A&A / commercial / industrial).

• Familiar with local building codes and safety regulations (e.g., BCA/SCDF standards if in Singapore).

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Independent, proactive, and hands-on.
