Your task:
Responsible for the ASEAN sub-region Finance & Controlling function in Division B, responsible for local IT management, Compliance delegate, Tier 1 legal support, Company Director and Company Secretary.
Overriding goal to achieve Singapore local, ASEAN sub-regional, Division B and ZF group financial and reporting targets within the framework of local regulatory and accounting practices. Ensures appropriate controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets and to provide the ASEAN leadership team with accurate and timely advice, guidance and reports in relation to the financial and business aspects of the company. Develops and maintains strategies to meet targets whilst ensuring corporate and legal compliance in accordance with the organization’s Code of Conduct.
The sub-regional Controller will provide financial and strategic advice to the local board of Directors, organize board meetings and lodge appropriate documents with ASEAN countries' respective Securities and Investments Commission. The Controller is the Public Officer of the company and is responsible for the lodgment and payment of all company taxes. The role also provides in-country support to ZF group holding company and Division CVS aftermarket in ASEAN.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across ASEAN entities.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, IFRS/GAAP, and group internal guidelines and policies.
• Manage statutory audits, internal controls, and risk management processes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate pricing, margins, and profitability, build financial models to facilitate decision making
• Drive finance transformation projects, including migration to new ERP, accounting system and process standardization.
• Support feasibility studies and strategic initiatives such as market expansion, M&A, and legal entity restructuring.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems, draft and review standard operating procedures
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders
Your profile:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a regional or controllership capacity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-border teams.
• Hands-on, resilient, and proactive in driving change and improvements.
