The Production Executive is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of production operators and technicians to ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive productivity, ensure workplace safety, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

The Job
- Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily output targets, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate daily workflow, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower and resources.
- Prepare and manage duty rosters for operators and technicians, including overtime planning.
- Collaborate closely with the production planner to ensure timely execution of shipment schedules.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering and quality to resolve production issues.
- Compile and monitor monthly reports on Overall Equipment Effectiveness and material wastage.
- Analyze production losses and high wastage areas.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
- Drive proactive measures to prevent non-conformities related to product, processes, and quality systems.
- Ensure seamless communication and handover between production shifts.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Guide the operators and technicians, maintain discipline and manage their performance appraisals.
- Maintain a safe production environment, including department housekeeping and security management of the production floor.
- Conduct investigations for any workplace accidents and submit reports to the Safety Committee.
- Identify training needs for technicians and ensure their effective onboarding and development.
The Talent
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes and team management.
- Proficient in data analysis with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Good understanding of current manufacturing methodologies and industry best practices.
