Technician - Water Treatment Systems - Semicon Manufacturing - #1098702

2 Years contract (Extendable)

Working hours: • Sunday to Thursday, 8am – 5.30pm, or • Tuesday to Saturday, 8am – 5.30pm

Scope of work:

• Lead by system owner, assist on daily troubleshooting of any interruption to UPW system process

• Response to UPW related SCADA alarm to notify system owner and perform first line basic troubleshooting on equipment and instrument

• Support UPW Team member on maintenance activities carry out by respective service providers

• Perform basic instruments calibration and analyzer routine maintenance.

• Collect and review operating data of the water treatment plant o Under system owners’ permission and guidance, operate SCADA for work activities:

• Suppress alarm

• Rotate duty equipment and put either one on standby mode

• ON / OFF isolation valves

• Input setting as per instructions

• Prepare equipment and instruments ready for maintenance or repairs, then resume to standby mode:

• Isolate / Open manual valves

• Perform Lock out-Tag out

Requirements:

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

• 1-3 years’ experience in operating utilities system

• Must be able to communicate in English for both written & verbal

• Experienced on SCADA/HMI

• Water treatment operation

• Basic knowledge on water treatment equipment and instruments

• Proficient with Microsoft application

Added advantages:

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in the operation & maintenance of water treatment system or facility operation (RO, EDI, UF, Filters, WWTP)

• Strong Knowledge on water treatment system: Pretreatment, UF, RO, EDI/EDR
