Baggage Operations | Changi Airport | Up to $2650 #1627 - #1098693

• Contract: 1 year (Renewable/Convertible)

• Working Location: Changi Airport

• Working Hours: 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (8:30am to 8:30pm & 8:30pm to 8:30am -night shift allowance) - Must commit both shift

• Salary: $2650 + Completion Bonus + Increment +OT 

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data.

• Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders

• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.

• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise.

• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA.

• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI.

• Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.

• Report to FMC for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.

• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.

• Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling.

• Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures.

• Perform enforcement works to ensure staff abide to safety and security measurements.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec with any relevant education

• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience)

• Must be on-site in the baggage handling area

• Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive the baggage truck

• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems

• Familiarity with aircraft types and an understanding of Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage

• Must be able to work shift and weekends
