About the Role
The Front of House Associate will report to the Deputy Head of Workplace Experience and will be the face of Hegen’s award-winning Experiential Centre, where every interaction with guests reflects our commitment to quality and excellence. Responsibilities:
You will oversee daily Front of House operations, which includes welcoming guests upon their arrival and providing them with a warm, engaging introduction to our centre. Your friendly demeanour and proactive approach will set the tone for their experience, making them feel valued and appreciated.
You will manage the front desk area, greeting each visitor and addressing inquiries or requests they may have. Your role will also involve guiding guests through our offerings, ensuring they leave with a comprehensive understanding of our products and services. Clear communication is key, and you will need to possess a thorough knowledge of Hegen’s offerings in order to effectively inform and engage visitors.
In addition to guest relations, maintaining the upkeep and organisation of the experiential center will be one of your responsibilities. A tidy and well-organised space is crucial for enhancing the overall visitor experience. You will collaborate with team members to ensure that our product and specimen displays are well-maintained, promotional materials are current, and the environment is always inviting.
An essential aspect of your position will involve managing interactions with guests who may have questions or concerns. Your ability to listen actively and address their needs promptly will foster a positive experience. Whether it’s resolving a complaint or providing additional information, your responses will reflect our dedication to customer satisfaction and exceed guest expectations.
You will also take part in various events and workshops hosted at the Experiential Centre. This will require you to assist in supporting onsite activities, ensuring participants have a seamless experience. Your enthusiasm for the brand and its offerings will be crucial in creating an engaging atmosphere.
Your task will include gathering feedback from guests to continuously enhance our service standards. You will be responsible for noting suggestions or comments and sharing them with the management team. This input is invaluable as it allows us to continually improve our operations and ensure that we are meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
Requirements:
At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a hospitality, facilities or office management role
Possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills with an exceptional eye for detail
Positive and proactive team player with a can-do attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Mandarin-speaking ability is mandatory for this role due to the nature of business operations as well as Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
Fast learner and comfortable with technology
Capable of multi-tasking and adaptable under pressure
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and entrepreneurial environment
Passion for local homegrown brands is a plus
A keen eye for aesthetic design and presentation is an advantage
