R&D cum QA Assistant - Woodlands Link / Food Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Engage in R&D initiatives such as cost reduction, ingredient substitution / consolidation and other key activities as assigned

• Prepare and conduct lab-scale trials and pilot runs.

• Collect, record, and analyse data from product development experiments.

• Coordinate sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, and other product performance assessments.

• Research and source ingredients and packaging materials suitable for new product ideas.

• Assist in routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

• Help maintain food safety documentation such as HACCP, GMP, and standard operating procedures.

• Support internal quality audits and assist in preparing for external audits.

• Assist in investigating quality issues or customer complaints and documenting corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience focused on food product development. Experience in QA is a plus.

• Good understanding of food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, FSSC preferred).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis.
