As a Patient Service Associate, Inflight, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conduct Financial Counselling: Provide counselling to patients and next-of-kin on ward class charges, bill estimates, and payment options, in line with PHMC Act/Regulations.

• Facilitate Subsidy Assessment: Obtain consent for NeFR/Means Testing to determine subsidy eligibility and offer proactive financial assistance when needed.

• Manage Ward Class Changes: Handle upgrade/downgrade requests by explaining cost differences and ensuring proper use of government subsidies.

• Support Admission Accuracy: Perform patient verification and record merges for those admitted without NRIC/FIN details, and update financial counselling if bill estimates change.

• Coordinate Seamless Transfers: Provide integrated financial counselling for patients transitioning to community hospitals, streamlining the admission and transfer process.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O Levels or equivalent with 1 year of related clinic assistant or customer service experience preferred.
