Responsibilities

• Follow MRP to release Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.

• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on purchasing issues and track shipment status.

• Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning.

• Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery for all procurement activities.

• Evaluate suppliers for components, materials, and products from local and international sources.

• Negotiate favourable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Manage and monitor Engineering Changes (EC) closely.

• Maintain adequate warehouse stock levels to support production needs.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Analyze and solve complex issues using thorough evaluation methods.

• Select appropriate methods and procedures for new tasks and lead team activities when required.

• Provide management with purchasing data and reports as needed.

Requirements

• Preferably with a Degree in Business/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the MNC Manufacturing industry.
