This is a commercial business development role where you get a chance to work with distributor partners and grow the business across markets. You may be required to travel and stay overseas for a prolonged period of time as per need basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Commercial/ Strategic Responsibilities
Responsible for Sales and PNL achievement of markets under responsibility.
Strategic roadmap planning for future market expansion (2-3 years ahead)
Source for new opportunities to grow sales & distribution within the market
Managing and overseeing allocated marketing spend within an agreed budget.
Sales Forecast and planning
Data collection and analysis for management recommendation and decision (Sales performance across market channels, stock level and competitor)
Customer Management
Liaising and managing relationship with distributors/partners across all levels and departments
Align with the partners their yearly marketing and distribution plans and motivate the partners to uphold the execution as planned
Arrange and lead the monthly, quarterly and bi-yearly review meetings with the partners and follow up diligently with the next action plan
Support partners with local product registrations
Assist partners with business ideas based on success stories/ case studies from other market
Ensure that all information provided by HQ were communicated clearly and efficiently to the relevant partners for any further actions
Operation Management
Processing POs from partners with internal teams (Supply chain, finance, Logistics)
Coordinate with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to execute smooth and timely Purchase Order shipments to the respective destinations
Coordinate with Finance on payments, partner claims processing and other finance matters. To ensure accuracy, timeliness, and on target/ under budget achievement.
Liaising all partner requirements with internal teams
Managing each market sales forecast for supply chain/ production planning
Bridge between Design & Marketing teams with the partners to ensure that brand representation in the respective markets are aligned with HQ
Our dream candidates:
University degree in business, marketing, economics or related fields.
3-5 years relevant experience in distributor sales dealing, candidates with less experience can be considered for Senior Executive role
Previous experience in handling distributor within Southeast Asia would be advantageous
Willing to travel and may be required to stay overseas for a prolonged period of time (within Southeast Asia/ Australia/ New Zealand) up to 70% of the time, good negotiations and communication skills
Open-minded, result-oriented with customer-centricity mindset
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, business planning and implementation
Passion to grow the business, strong time management skill and able to work under pressure and adapt to changeable environment
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
