What You'll Be Doing:
As our Facilities Officer - Soft Services, your responsibilities will include:
Leading Soft Services Excellence: Oversee the entire spectrum of campus soft services, including cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and comprehensive event support, ensuring all operations meet the highest standards. You'll also provide backup support for hard services delivery.
Driving Service Delivery: Establish and monitor procedures to guarantee client expectations are consistently met, while ensuring full compliance with all local statutory regulations and adherence to the College's Safeguarding and other policies.
Vendor Partnership & Performance: Proactively manage vendor contracts, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure best value and quality of service for the client.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Facilities Coordinators and Handyman, fostering a culture of excellence and providing crucial first-line support for complaints and event needs.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date site soft service documentation, achieve contractual KPI and SLA targets, and actively participate in emergency response exercises.
Budget & Procurement Management: Take primary responsibility for the soft services OPEX budget, including tracking, reporting, and managing vendor procurement processes in line with JLL and client guidelines.
Innovation & Sustainability: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify and implement initiatives that drive cost savings, energy efficiency, process improvements, and sustainability efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and effective communication.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience in facilities management, specifically with a strong focus on soft services delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage diverse stakeholders, building rapport and effectively addressing their needs and concerns.
Shifting schedule: Willingness and ability to work on a 3 different schedules to support operational needs
Onsite Commitment: Must be able to work 100% onsite
Immediate Availability: Ready to start as soon as possible
