Job Description
You are responsible for the provision of sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment to operating theatres and procedural rooms by ensuring all aspects of sterile processing: decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilisation, storage and distribution. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair a variety of simple diagnostics and therapeutic biomedical equipment to maximise equipment availability for patient care.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or related fields
- 3 years working experience as Instrument Technical Assistant or sterile processing unit will be preferred
- Able to perform 3 rotating shifts (8am to 4.35pm; 1pm to 9.35pm; 9pm to 7.30am), including weekends and public holidays
