The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening partnerships with key telecom operators (e.g., Singtel, StarHub, M1). This role drives smartphone sales through telco channels by coordinating sales, marketing, and operational activities. The candidate will plan and execute channel marketing campaigns, ensure smooth onboarding of new products, and collaborate closely with internal teams to support product delivery and after-sales service. Strong market intelligence and strategic insights are essential to maximize market share and achieve sales targets. Prior experience working within Chinese corporate culture and established telco relationships are advantageous.
Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom partners (e.g., Singtel, StarHub, M1).
Act as the main point of contact for telco partners on all sales, marketing, and operational matters.
Ensure alignment on business goals, promotions, and sell-through targets.
Sales & Target Achievement
Drive smartphone sales through telco channels (retail, online, bundling, etc.).
Monitor and analyze sales performance data; prepare regular reports.
Propose and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve KPIs.
Channel Marketing & Promotion
Plan and execute co-branded campaigns, promotions, and launch activities with telcos.
Coordinate product training, POS materials, and promotional displays in telco retail outlets.
Ensure brand visibility and guideline compliance in telco channels.
Operational Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, after-sales) to ensure smooth delivery and support.
Track stock levels and coordinate replenishment plans with telco partners.
Resolve operational or service issues swiftly to maintain partner satisfaction.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor competitor activities within telco channels.
Gather market feedback and consumer insights to support product and pricing strategies.
Contribute to the planning of new model launches and bundling offers.
New Product Onboarding Support
Assist in onboarding new products into telecom channels, ensuring smooth coordination and successful product launches with telco partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in managing telco relationships is a plus.
Candidates who are well-suited to working within Chinese corporate culture will be given preference.
