Job description
Balancing leadership and strategic planning responsibilities, a Production Planner oversees the team to ensure production targets are met. The Planner's role is a diverse one, involving a range of duties including planning, assigning work, co-ordinating meetings, addressing complaints, implementing policies and resolving problems. Always looking at ways to improve productivity, the Planner recommends improvements on production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
· Creating the machining process plan
· Reviewing high speed machining processes
· Reviewing surface coating
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage/ensure smooth materials/logistic flow; work/address operational issues with respective departments to ensure shipment commitment is made on time.
2. Responsible for planning and scheduling materials and resources to meet the delivery requirement.
3. Work with production/engineering team on cycle time reduction and yield improvements program.
4. Manage all subcontractors and their deliverables
5. Purchase components and monitor machines performance and arrange schedule for maintenance
6. Prepare production and purchase reports as required by the management
7. Monitor and control production and purchase budget
8. Provide sales coordinator support for specific project as assigned.
9. Preferred with knowledge or familiar with precision machining environment.
10. Client focused with strong project management skills
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Strong leadership and organizational skills
13. Experiences and skills with problem-solving crisis.
14. Proficiency in MS Office Applications
15. 5.5 day work week
