Nurse (Campus Based) - #1097156

Invictus International School is seeking a School Nurse who is responsible to carry out the professional duties as circumstances may require and by the school's policies under the direction of the school’s Principal. The school envisioned to be the leading educational institution where every learner is developed holistically and given opportunities to flourish successfully.

School Nurse

The School Nurse will have to work closely with the school to provide immediate first aid to school children and staff as required.

Responsibilities:

• Guide well-being and safeguard practice across the school level
• Develop the school’s awareness of health and safety
• Attend to children and staff (if required) by accurately identifying illness or injury and provide basic stabilisation and triage within a nurse’s capabilities
• Assist in administering medication and refer for medical treatment for affected students or staff as necessary
• Maintain and update health record accordingly
• Maintain and update school medical supplies and equipment, and ensure timely stock up
• Assist in tracking of attendance at key events as required

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or related field and hold a registered nurse licence
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in related field
• Attended at least 1,000 hours of clinical experience
• Up to date certification such as basic life support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
