Job Purpose

The role involves administering server infrastructure, business applications, and cloud application services. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing systems performance and availability by monitoring critical indicators like uptime and event triggers, providing user support and troubleshooting, and executing change requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in new infrastructure and project implementation by gathering business requirements, supporting project studies, and facilitating the deployment and enhancement of IT infrastructure projects.

• Administer IOPS services by monitoring the availability and performance of infrastructure (servers, business applications, cloud apps)

• Continuously improve IOPS services to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Technical/Functional Competencies

Required competencies (at Intermediate level unless noted):

• Infrastructure deployment, design, and support.

• Problem management, sense making, and service orientation.

• Data centre facilities and disaster recovery management.

• Security administration and teamwork.

• Advanced level required for service level management and problem solving.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology (or equivalent).

• Experience:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and operations.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams).

• Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Linux, storage systems, business applications, cloud services, server virtualization, backup, and business continuity.
