We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable full-time (Assistant) Store Manager to join our team at the Taste Orchard outlet! Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, and supplier coordination to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure the store adheres to SOP, health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and quality control.
Ensure the right cash float amount for opening and closing cashiers.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments accurately.
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments (third party platforms and applications).
Manage daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies.
Train, and supervise team members, including baristas and customer service staff.
Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and non-peak hours.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Maintain high standards of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Monitor daily sales performance and strive to meet or exceed sales targets.
Manage cash handling, including opening and closing procedures and daily reconciliation.
Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to increase revenue.
Support promotional activities or events when needed.
Handle feedback or complaints in a professional manner, escalating them to management if necessary.
Maintain quality control to ensure consistency in taste and presentation of cakes, teas and toppings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including equipment, utensils, workstations and dining areas.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards as required by Singapore regulations.
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
Uphold company policies and ensure a positive experience for every customer.
Assign team members to work stations and collaborate with them to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and perform regular deep cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or retail and managing a team is preferred.
Applicants with basic food hygiene certification are preferred. Otherwise, arrangements will be discussed.
Friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
6 days workweek, must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
