We seek a dynamic Head of Sales Singapore to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence within the baby and maternity sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to engage with clients, manage a high-performing sales team, and collaborate closely with marketing to enhance our brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue and establishing a stronger foothold in the baby and maternity market.
- Market Analysis: Identify and target key customer segments; conduct thorough market trend analysis to uncover and capitalize on lucrative business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, retailers, and distributors to create sustainable partnerships within the industry.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team by providing ongoing guidance, training, and support to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate sales performance metrics; prepare detailed sales reports for review by senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with marketing campaigns and promotional activities that drive traffic and sales.
- Merchandising Excellence: Oversee effective merchandising and product placement in stores to maximize visibility and sales potential.
- Pricing and Promotions Management: Develop and manage pricing strategies, discounts, and promotional initiatives designed to drive product sales and meet revenue and GP targets.
- Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to pinpoint growth opportunities.
- Marketing Collaboration: Assist with marketing requests from the sales team and retail partners; prepare engaging weekly Electronic Direct Mail (EDMs).
- Branding Initiatives: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance store branding both online and in physical locations, including window and in-store display installations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the baby and maternity industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams.
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
