About the role

As an Operations Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of freight and cargo operations within the Changi Airfreight Centre. This full-time position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and handling the movement of both airfreight and seafreight shipments, including scheduling, documentation, tracking, and monitoring shipments

• Liaising with clients, carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to all freight and cargo activities

• Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the logistics process

• Assisting with the implementation of new procedures and technologies to improve operational efficiency

• Providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external clients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics role

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and vendors

• Proficient in using relevant logistics freight management software and tradeweb

• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
