Elitez Aviation is hiring on behalf of our clients in the aerospace industry
We are seeking skilled Machinists with hands-on experience in VTL, CNC Milling, and Lathe/Turning machining methods to join our client’s dynamic aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in precision machining, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and experience working with metal components in high-spec environments.
Core Responsibilities
Set up machining fixtures, tooling, and inserts for turning, grinding, or milling operations.
Measure, mark, and scribe dimensional and reference points on materials.
Determine datum for locating parts not previously in production.
Align fixtures and cutting tools as required for operations.
Set machining parameters including rotation speed, feed rate, coolant flow, and cutting depth.
Monitor machining processes for tool wear or malfunction during operations.
Perform pressure testing on parts as needed.
Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, gauges, vernier calipers, and indicators to verify conformance to specifications.
Request and support on-machine inspections when required.
Perform routine Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) on machines.
Report any non-conformances related to parts, equipment, tooling, paperwork, or materials.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
1–3 years of machining experience in an aerospace or precision engineering environment.
Proficient in operating VTL, CNC Milling, and Lathe/Turning machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T symbols.
Skilled in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, vernier calipers).
Familiarity with machining metal components (no plastic machining).
Able to perform basic shop math and interpret English-language work instructions and documentation.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use lifting and handling equipment.
Education: NITEC / Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Precision Engineering, or equivalent.
