Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Testing & Commissioning Engineer - #1096883

Job Description:

• Carrying out E&I testing, commissioning, and start-up activities for Water and Wastewater Systems for onshore and offshore (FPSO) projects.

• Working closely with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for system startup.

• Developing and executing testing/commissioning/startup plans, procedures, and checklists.

• Participating in meetings and providing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and updates.

• Preparing logs and punch lists and tracking their closures and liaising with clients to achieve smooth signoffs/handover.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams in HQ with feedback from testing/commissioning/startup activities to close out any functional or design issues.

• Troubleshooting and rectification of faults during testing and commissioning.

• Ensuring work is completed on schedule and in accordance with the requirements.

• Experienced with work method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work (PTW), and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO).

• Ad-hoc works assigned by EIC manager.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Control and Instrumentation or related fields.

• Min. 3 years of E&I experience in water and wastewater treatment system operation and commissioning.

• Strong understanding of electrical starters and VFD.

• Know-how of electrical equipment and instruments installation and commissioning.

• Skilled in Electrical & Instrumentation troubleshooting.

• General computer knowledge of MS Office.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.

• Willing to travel overseas at short notice.
