Finance Business Partner (OPEX) | Manufacturing (2 Years Contract) - #1096785

Our client who is a global leader in synthetic elastomers, with a strong presence in the chemical and petrochemical industry is looking for a driven and detail-oriented OPEX Controller to join their Singapore finance team on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in partnering with cost center owners across both Jurong Island manufacturing site and regional corporate functions at Westgate, ensuring robust cost control, financial planning, and variance analysis.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the key business partner to cost center owners for budgeting, forecasting, and actual performance tracking

• Lead cost spending variance analysis and maintain cost cycle allocation cycles

• Prepare and review internal KPI reports (e.g. DSO/DSI, AR Overdues, Inventory, Rebates)

• Deliver quarterly IFRS 15 reports to corporate accounting

• Manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), including cost statement preparation and submission

• Support SAP access rights and act as Controlling system administrator for Asia

• Contribute to and/or lead process improvement projects

Who You Are:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, costing, controlling, or financial analysis

• Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred

• Strong skills in Excel, PowerBI, SAP R3/S4, and SAP BW

• Analytical, independent, and confident with strong problem-solving skills

• A team player with good interpersonal and communication abilities
