Job Description
Technician shall be well verse with ACMV, Building, Fire response system / DECAM, Electrical and Mechanical rectification/mitigation measures to ensure customer satisfaction within the refinery facilities.
Job Responsibilities
Undertake daily checklist and facility/plan walkthrough, identify potential issue and highlight to supervisor/manager proactively
Undertake inspection, testing and maintenance for self-performed equipment
Provide supervision and escort during any vendor activity
Attend any fire drill, equipment testing as required
Provide inputs into the creation of SOP/EOP
Respond to any incident and escalation as per the SLA requirements
Conduct the necessary the mitigation in order to make safe, isolate fault and resume operation
Undertake any ad-hoc repairs for self performed activities Building Fabric, Carpentry, Plumbing & Sanitary
Attending to any work request and/or alarm in a diligent and timely manner
Escalate issues and incidents and provide support during emergency call out/manpower coverage.
Accountable for the QEHS performance of activities within the scope of work
Carry out duties in accordance with company’s management policy, procedures and work instructions
Be aware of significant HSE risk, actual or potential, of your work activities and the HSE benefits of improved personal performance
Undertake any duties/projects, etc. as and instructed by the Superior

Basic analytical and quantitative skills.
Knowledge on Fire Alarm System, Access Card System, Fencing Intrusion Detection System, Fire Protection System and other M & E Systems.
Knowledge of using troubleshooting tools (pliers, screw drivers, spanner, multimeter etc.)
Able to work under critical time pressure
Job Requirements
Educational qualifications with either of the following:
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant experience; or
Higher NITEC (or equivalent) in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 3 years relevant experience; or
NITEC (or equivalent) in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 5 years relevant experience; or
Minimum SEC (Skill Evaluation Certification) of relevant FM discipline accredited by BCA, with minimum 5 years relevant experience; or
Need to attend Apply WorkPlace Safety & Health in Process Plant course and to attend Site Induction Course (SIC) at site.
Able to commit to attend breakdown calls on either after office hours or weekends including public holidays.
Able to work Overtime as and when operational requirements or work urgency entails.
