PROJECT ENGINEER, HOOK-UP - #1095787

• Location: Willingness to travel between Tampines and Woodland

• Working Hours: 5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

• Willingness to commit to extended hours when required

Job Description:

• Assist in planning and executing hook-up works (MEP and process systems).

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams (design, construction, QA/QC).

• Ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.

• Interpret P&IDs, hook-up drawings, and technical specifications.

• Support pre-construction activities such as method statement and work procedure review.

• Resolve site issues with supervision from senior engineers or the project manager.

• Monitor and verify site progress related to utility hook-ups and tool installations.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Participate in system walkdowns, testing, and commissioning phases.

• Maintain up-to-date records of work progress, change requests, and technical clarifications.

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to management.

• Assist in preparing turnover packages and as-built documentation.

• Any other duties as assigned

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)

• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech plant hook-up projects preferred

• Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure in similar industries may also be considered

• Strong understanding of MEP and process systems (e.g., CDA, vacuum, DIW, toxic gas)

• Familiarity with construction safety standards and procedures

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Able to work on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• The candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Candidates with good experience will be considered for a higher role, and the salary will be commensurate accordingly
