Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PMO Asst. Manager to support the PMO function within Group IT. The ideal candidate will work closely with PMO lead to ensure effective delivery of IT projects, change requests, and data-driven insights. This role is pivotal in maintaining oversight of project governance, supporting delivery teams, and enabling strategic decision-making through data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Change Request Management
Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects in line with PMO standards.
Coordinate and track project schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and resources.
Facilitate project status meetings and prepare related documentation and dashboards.
Manage the intake, assessment, and prioritization of IT change requests.
Ensure that all project and change documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
PMO Support
Assist in maintaining and improving PMO frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
Support portfolio management activities, including reporting on project health, status, and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with governance processes, including stage gates, approvals, and risk management.
Provide training or onboarding to project stakeholders on PMO tools and templates.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze project and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.
Assist in resource planning and capacity analysis for the IT department.
Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for decision-making.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or business analysis role.
Experience in IT project and change management within a medium to large organization.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, ideally using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent).
Understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Proactive and self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
Strong team player, but also able to work independently when required.
