Structural Coordinator - #1095633

Assist consultant for Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works to comply with requirements of the authorities.

To review consultants design drawings and coordinate with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.

Liaise with C&S consultant to ensure design deliverable and ST submission schedule meet project construction program.

Check and highlight all the discrepancies between Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.

In-depth understanding of structural drawings, specifications, and requirements. Ensure accuracy and timely submission of structural coordination drawings. 

Review and submit RFI, RFA and method statement. 

Liaise with site team and resolve site technical issues with a proposal and submit to consultant for approval. 

Attend site meetings with construction team and conduct inspections on site to ensure that the structural works carried out comply with the drawings and meet the specification and code requirements。

Responsible for timely submission of shop dwgs and reports to Consultant and Authorities.

To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues.

To assist Project Manager in project coordination and oversee of all structural/ civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings.

Attending meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project.

Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme.

Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and coordinate shop drawing production progress.

Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings and concrete body plan.

Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities.

Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans ment control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard.

Requirements 

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building

• Min 5 years structural coordinator experience, familiar with precast 

• installation such as Advance Precast and PBU

• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements.
